In the late 1970s, the idea of a few people was to produce alternative, honest and high-quality products.
Bio Bakkerij De Trog developed from an artisan and organic bakery, located in the picturesque historic city centre of Bruges.

The basis was and still is homemade sourdough, organic stone-ground flour and unrefined sea salt.

During the product development, the purity and origin of the ingredients are strictly monitored. Although the ingredients form the basis of the product, the processing method is equally important within the overall concept.

In the further development, you will therefore notice that the specific production method will be the guiding thread that will determine the quality guarantee of the end product, which is appreciated by a very loyal and growing group of customers.
